Monica Trevisi's jewellery is the product of a happy collision between steel and semi-precious stones, glass beads, gems and leather. The subtle brilliance of the slender bronze-coloured springs is teamed with the transparency of rock crystal, the deep, bright colours of stones, and metals that have been hammered by hand to tone down their reflective quality, producing contemporary creations: items that are very much industrial in origin – springs, washers, rings, nuts and buckles – are given a new lease of life and successfully convey a woman's inherent strength and pragmatism.

The proportions, geometry and tailored quality of her creations make Monica Trevisi an artisan jewellery designer who thinks and works with her hands, who produces little works of art that fill the wearer with emotions and excitement.
